Somewhere along the line, it got a nice-sized dent on the top. I've been meaning to test it for quite a while now and took it out of its box but left it in the wrapper. Maybe I placed some things on top of it, but I don't think any of them were extremely heavy. Also, the tongs are pretty cheap. The ad shows nice tongs with silicon tips. Anyways, to me there's some confusion about the heating time—I guess it has to do with how full it is. The top of the advertisement says half an hour, near the bottom it says 10-15 minutes, and the instructions say 1.5-2.5 hours. With just four small damp towels inside, in 15 minutes, I was able to get a nicely warmed towel out that stayed hot for a minute while I wiped my face. For home use it can get a single bath towel warm while taking a nice long shower or after you took a bath.. I'm not sure how useful the UV light is if you have the machine filled to the brim with towels. I'd imagine it would just hit the surface of some of the towels and prevent growth after extended use. Also, I thought it had some sort of hydrating mechanism to dampen the towels if you wanted to. The listing doesn't/didn't say that, but you do have to get the towels wet yourself. It has a tray at the bottom front to collect condensation.
