We have two humidifiers going all the time and they each take a gallon of distilled water to fill. I bought this unit while on sale and after reading the reviews. It takes between 3 to 4 hrs per gallon. At this rate, it will pay for itself in less than two months. Definitely a winner!

Quit working after a year

This quit working before a year. Trying it again. I do like it but it should have lasted longer than a year. We did use it a lot but it should have lasted longer.

Corroded after 2 uses and the worst instructions. Seems like they were directly translated. They need to invest in better communications and better quality. I used the salt after use as instructed and the bottom is totally corroded

We use about a gallon of distilled water each week in our Cpap machines. In the past, many times our local Walmart would be out of stock. Now I never have to worry about that anymore. Just make my own. Thanks

I purchased this distiller and used it as instructed , making about two gallons of water daily for a humidifier. Each night I cleaned it as instructed with inclosef citric acid. After TWO WEEKS the unit stopped working for no reason: would not turn on. I was strung along, told they would send me a board to repair it (???a BRAND NEW ITEM??) and then offered to refund a small fraction of my purchase price and told me to go have it fixed myself. I will be reporting them to the BBB and the US government for fraud. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

This is my fourth distiller of this brand they usually last approximately 4 years and work impeccably during that time. For a tabletop water distiller I would highly recommend it.

Like others have said it leaks a bit between top and bottom parts. Takes a few hours to get 2 liters so with electric cost it’s really only worth it if you need a lot of distilled water or like the fact that it can also act as an electric space heater in the winter….leak isn’t significant enough to be a problem and seems fine through 3 uses. TBD on long term durability
