Wonderful addition and at a great price, easy install

Some were stating that the assembly of this was difficult, I am small woman and I had no issues in the assembly. In fact it took me less than a 1/2 hour. The directions and all the materials all lined up perfectly. This was a purchase for another home, and did not have any overhand whatsoever at a door, this has been a life saver for rain and ice in Michigan. It's location takes a LOT of high winds, and snow, and this has been more than adequate to protect the doorway, in fact I am considering buying another to go over another door. For the price and experience 4 months in, I would say it is more than worth the price and time.

Not thrilled

My primary complaint is with assembly: Three of the "self-tapping" screws broke off at the head during assembly, and they were screwed in by hand, so it isn't a power equipment problem. I began pre-drilling after that--and recommend that people pre-drill. The screws are crap. Overall, it is pretty light weight, but certainly worth the experiment to see how it holds up at this price. Better screws-->Better Reviews!

well pleased with my purchase. the awning canopy looks great and is sturdy after being mounted. I did have to improvise a little to use as intended but all adjustments were quickly implemented and ALL IS GOOD!!! thanks for the fair price, quality of the item, relative ease in assembly.

It arrived earlier than expected

Cheap but functional

The mounting hardware it comes with didn't work well with Hardie board siding. Used wood lag bolts to secure it; otherwise, it is functional. I don't expect it to last more than 6 months. The price was worth the experiment.

Too light for outdoor weather elements

The perspex and frame looks too flimsy for outdoor weather elements. I haven't installed it yet, 😕. Looks boring (aesthetically) to go through the hustle of mounting this.
