My client is very happy with their new handrail. So pleased that his neighbor wants one too! As the installer, I only have one comment to make. A rotary hammer bit is enclosed with the handrail for drilling into concrete. Unfortunately China (where the handrail is made) must have a different style of rotary hammer, so the enclosed bit does not fit in a standard USA rotary hammer. One of the bases was misaligned with the cap. Came with a drill bit, but it wasn't a standard STS bit and didn't fit in any of my US tools. Luckily I already had the right one. The rail should extend beyond the posts just a bit more or have multiple options for mounting the legs. In my setup it ended up a bit short on one end and longer on the other, but no way to move it because of the stairs and no adjustment options. ...See more See less
