Q: What kind of ink is suitable for different stencils? A: Common inks are divided into water-based, solvent, and oily. Water-based inks are suitable for thicker stencils (100-200 mesh). Solvent ink for medium mesh screens (200-300 mesh). Oily ink for high mesh screens (300-400mesh). The ink should be poured on the top or both sides of the pattern when printing. Please do not pour the ink directly on the printing patterns. Q: How to choose the stencils with a different mesh count? A: According to the substrates, such as rough absorbent substrates require more ink, so you need to choose a thicker stencil; smooth non-absorbent substrates require relatively less ink, so you need to select a higher mesh screen. Q: What size frames should I buy? A: Choose and buy according to the pattern size that needs to be printed. Add 3.9 in to the length and width of the pattern. The data obtained will be the maximum inner space size of the required screen frame.
Most cost effective screens on the market. Are lighter than most screens and work just as good as any screen I have used. I have washed out old emulsion and used for multiple jobs already and no quality flaws
good product, would buy again, very easy to use, as advertised, received it pretty quick, only thing i have purchaased that im actually excited about...
Just bought my third set and I'm definitely going to be buying more. These things can't be beat at this price point. I have some of the thicker frame and more expensive screens and prefer these.!
These screens arrived quickly. They are lightweight and well glued. The mesh is straight and holds very tight registration. One small detail I had to adjust to. After reclaiming them or washing out a design - the screens hold water and then drain at inconvenient times (like on our burn table) I drilled tiny holes at each corner so they drain and have not had a problem since. WELL worth the money saved so that small detail cannot be called an inconvenience, but if you don't know how to use a drill or don't know they hold water then you could be caught off guard. I will absolutely buy more by the dozens. They are thinner than my old screens and I love that I can store three times as many prepared screens in the cupboard. They actually are stronger than some larger aluminum screens I have currently. When I clamp them on the press they haven't crimped, or buckled like my bigger ones have.
