The Vedor 1.5 HP is a very powerful sump pump with vertical float that works well in smaller holes. The sump hole in my basement is only 15 inches which is small. I needed a compact design pump to fit next to the water powered powered pump. This Vevor pump fits easily into the hole along side the backup pump. It is a heavy pump which helps reduce any movement when pumping water. After installing the pump I poured water into the hole and the float easily moved upward turning on the pump. During a recent rain storm the pump performed very well keeping my basement dry. I am happy with this purchase. ...See more See less
