Without some sort of wedge system the hitch was super loose. Seems like a no brainer that they would always have a way to tighten them. Would love to return but I already installed it on the car with my bike rack before I saw how much of a problem it was

Exactly what I needed. I have a 5in lift on my vehicle and couldn't use my motorcycle carrier. This was perfect to lower the carrier back down to a reasonable height.

It was more sturdy that expected for the price we paid. It worked well for our jeep.
