worth the savings

worth the price, if you are a hobbyist, it is worth the savings compared to others in my opinion. I can't compare to more expensive units but i am happy with what I have purchased from Vevor. The item was shipped fast and showed up in good condition. It works well without having to do any cleaning or modifications and saved me several hundred dollars. I Don't make jewelry so I can't tell you if it's worth the saving for the professional jeweler. I hope this helps.

This 5” ball vise is pretty nice for the money . Jaws close tight and even . Ball spins smoothly . Rotational lock screw has good spring and lock pin . Smaller accessorie pins have slight movement , maybe 1mm . I tested all clamping features , and all hold satisfactory. Seems they have corrected previous issues. Good to see Vevor is listening to their customers . This vise should serve me well into the future . I am happy with this purchase .

This ball vise is so sloppy it will not be possible to use. The machining tolerances are terrible. The vise jaws tilt about .025" on each side, the pins for the accessory jaws are loose and allow too much slop the bearing adjustment system does not work correctly. When adjusting the drag for rotation you basically have no rotation or full free rotation but you can't increase tension to have any drag. Also the smell is terrible, it is like a burning rubber smell.

No need to spend money on the known name brand. This engraving ball will last for many years and at the price it cannot be beat.

It's a great alternative to the GRS for hobbyist like myself. When my first ball came it had some spots with too much powder coating that kept the pins from going in. I had only asked for a replacement of that small part, but Vevor sent a whole new unit which I thought was above and beyond.

I can only give the lowest rating possible because I received a power surge box not the ball vise I paid for. This company is horrible to deal with if there is a problem. Someone may be enjoying the vise but I am not. I did agree to a refund finally but was not asked to return the incorrect item. I would be afraid to try to do business with this company again.
