This is my first try at using a vac pot for wood stabilization and it turned out great. This vac pot holds vac very well and is well built with the glass lid and stiff sided pot. You can't go wrong with this vac pot if stabilizing wood is your intent.

Used it to boil moisture out of hydraulic oil. Ran it full out for days. Changed oil a bunch on the compressor but it did it’s job wicked good. I bought the 5 gal bucket heater and used that on the stainless pot. Works mint

2.5 CFM Vacuum Pump

Bought this 2.5 cfm vacuum pump for doing lay up work on a RC airplane fuselage. The pump works as expected however the oil that was provided with the pump misted and smoked severely. After two or three uses the oil level was low enough to effect performance. I ordered vacuum pump from HD but it was out of stock, not wanting to wait I had a Bottle of NAPA hydraulic jack oil hand, seems to be 10 weight, gave it a try, no smoke or mist, the pump does leak a little oil out of exhaust but it is not big deal, overall I like it. The low quality is based solely on the oil supplied.

First time using this type equipment. Rated at 4 stars but have encountered no issues with the equipment yet. Used to stabilize wood and have stabilized four times since purchase. No issues with the operation at this time. Satisfied with purchase, shipping, and company. Would purchase again.
