It is hard to understand the settings on it. You will have slushy 1 minute and then it melts down to juice again the next minute. I've had mine about a year and it quit working. It doesn't freeze anymore. I don't think it's worth the money. I paid.

We use this machine everyday for our “adult slushies”. Best gift I could have ever received.

I have used this all summer and fall. It’s perfect for ice cream, wine slushy, or a frozen fruit juice. It works fast and easily to operate.

Thought I was getting a margarita machine only to realize it is for slushys only, wasted $480.00 . I should have done my research.

The drinks freeze to the blades causing the blades to stop spinning and it causes it to leak inside on the miter and out the sides

The machine works fine but very difficult to pull about to clean and getting it back together us extremely difficult

Easy to use and clean. Works great for non alcoholic drinks. Is programmed to only freeze to -3.5 oC (25.7 oF) so I was only able to make alcoholic drinks up to 3 - 4% alcohol. Appears to have enough cooling capacity to freeze at lower temperatures, but controller stops cooling at -3.5 oC. Unit was delivered in a very secure shipping box, but the internal starting capacitor for the compressor was not secured properly and had dislodged during shipment and keep the cooling fan from rotating. By the time I realized what had happened the fan motor had burned out and the unit would not cool. I called customer service and they sent me a new fan motor, which took about 2 weeks to arrive. It took about an hour to replace the motor and now the unit works fine.

I was worried about buying this because of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised at just how well it works. Every once in a while I will get an under-voltage error, but a quick restart seems to fix it. The holding tank takes exactly a 2-liter bottle of soda. Don't bother with slushy mixes, just use your favorite soda as long as it has sugar in it. Sugar free drinks will not work. This has been the best summer time purchase! Everyone from my apartment stops by to get a slushy and it is a great conversation starter. Through this darn machine I have ended up creating a stronger community.
