i have just cleaned over 300 records dating from the 60s thru the 80s . i am amazed how well this thing works. the records sound new. i am enjoying my vinyl again. it wont do anything about scratches but its the best thing i have ever used to clean records. very little assembly is required. i had mine up and running in about 15 minutes. its a fair amount of money to spend if you only have a few records but for larger record collections its a no brainer. i highly recommend it .

Works great with a few tweeks, Setup and testing and prep. takes an hour or two. The spacer disks will have to be cleaned up and finish sanded to remove debris from mfg.cutout prosses. I also made label protectors from silicone 1/16 sheeting. First mod was to cut the lid with a dremmil and cutoff wheel so it would fit with the motor installed. 2nd mod was to replace the 24v motor wall wart with a 12v 1amp walwart, as the 24v rotated the motor way too fast. 3rd added a bluetooth wired bbq type temperature probe. Cleaning solution i finally settled on was Distilled water, 2 caps of the iSonic fluid \"blue\" , 2oz of X100, ipa 100% home brew premix concentrate. Premix = 1gallon distilled water, 8 to 10 caps of X100 and 10 to 12 caps of 100% ipa. Shake the hell out of it , this will desolve the x100, let it settle to defoam. I run a 12 minute cycle with machine set to 28c. And a preheat to 86f. realtime temperature on the inkbird probe. I run 3 albums at a time, to center 3 albums in the wash basin load 3 spacers to start then a album and 2 spacers between each album with a silicone protector on each side. The last spacer is a single. This centers the 3 in the wash bin. Pre sweep each record with a lp dust brush. Inspect each lp for pressing defects. Post clean , lift the motor and drip dry for 10 minutes with a fan blowing on them then 10 minutes in the included drying rack. This method yealds spotless results and cleans all but the worst finger prints. With no water spots and fast air drying. Heavy soiled and fingerprinted albums need to be pre cleaned. No way around it Dont freak out when your fluid gets cloudy before you clean anything. I clean 30 or 40 albums or more on a fluid change. Noise? Yes it is noisy. You wont want it in your listening room. If its in an adjacent room with the door closed you wont hear it Its significantly quieter while its spinning albums in the fluid. Louder while empty or preheating with the agitation motors running as this helps spe

This machine does exactly as it was intended. This machine gives you the ability to clean multiple records in one pass and does an excellent job as well. Label guards are effective at keeping labels dry.

I bought this specifically for cleaning my vinyl records. It works as well as any ultrasonic cleaner would and I do notice a difference when I use it. I bought this because it is a fraction of the cost of the fancier audio file ones that the record just sits in a slot. That said it is a major production to clean your records. You have to put them on a spindle and adjust the height to submerse the grooves into the liquid. It is nice that you can do 4 records at once. Every once in a while when I have a stack of records that need a deep cleaning I will pull it out and spend half the day cleaning them. One word of advice in its use, use just a tiny bit of Surfactant in your distilled water.

Bought this to clean my records. Cleaned about 30 records so far. Owned for 3 months. I couldn't believe how dirty the water was after cleaning. The records looked almost new and played awesome. No pops or scratchy noises just good sounding music. Highly recommend this. Plus it can be used to clean other items that will fit in basin. It was easy to use and set up. Like the heater to warm up water for cleaning. Timer is loud so you won't miss it when its done cleaning

This works amazing. Super clean records. I can't believe that a more expensive cleaner you see advertised would be any better than this and it's Hundreds less expensive. Don't be afraid to give it a try.

Very Nice and efficient, everything went together well, worked great. The only drawback was the spacer discs, they were left un-trimmed and when you cleaned them up, the surface would unravel or something. Great product thogh!

Wow. I'm blown away at how much better sounding my albums after giving them a good cleaning. I have 40 year old LP's that sound brand new. I clean 8 at a time using 1.5 gal of distilled water and a capful of Isonic cleaner - 40C at 15 min.

Shipping was fast, under 3 days as promised. Instructions are easy to follow. The unit works better than I could have hoped for. I buy a lot of used records from the 50's through the late 60's and most are pretty mucked up after years of neglect. I was surprised to see the amount of sediment at the bottom of the tank after cleaning the 6 records as suggested. But a visually clean record is nothing if they sound like a fireworks display going off, I'm happy to say that the majority of the records come out sounding like nearly new with very little background noise. The few that did not were just too far gone. The only suggestion I would have is either a screw type lifting set up for the motor to take the records out of the bath when finished or the keeper nut to have some sort of bar or nub to keep it from turning while unscrewing the knob. It's a bit awkward trying to hold the motor with the weight of the records up and tighten the knob without having the nut spin.

Rremoves debris from the groove (a record has only one groove from the outer edge to the end near the label. What looks like grooves are portions of that spiral). Has made noisy discs quiet once more. A must for collectors. The main unit is on the lighter side both in weight and sheet metal thickness which, I suppose, helps to keep its price down. Nothing fancy, no automatic drying or slot loading. Just a simple, effective design.
