Purchased to hold briskets after smoking. Before I put any food in, I ran the warmer for a couple hours with an external temperature monitoring system to check the fluctuating in internal temps. I first set the unit to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. My temperature prove was reading 165 to 170 degrees. If I wanted those temperatures I would hold in my oven. I played around with the units temperature settings and I finally settled at 120 degrees to get temperature down to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. I was still getting fluctuating temperature up to 155 and 165 degrees. I am not happy with these drastic temperature fluctuations. I've read reviews from YouTube videos were people were complaining about the protective film on their warmers. Mine did not have any protective film on it, but I can see around the rivets that still had small pieces of the protective film. So either this is a used unit or they removed it after assembly. I have a request submitted to see if these units are supposed to have the protective film or not. Right now, I would suggest not purchasing this unit until I get some answers to my questions that I've submitted.

I purchased this to help keep food warm for our church dinners we have monthly. The inside temp only reached 123 degrees. The description said it reached 150 degrees. It does not and I am very disappointed.
