disaster preparedness

This is perfect for adding to your emergency / disaster preparedness supplies. You will need somewhere solid and stable to put it before filling with water. It comes with a proper water dispenser when you need to use it. And it comes with mulitple patches in case there is a puncture. It folds up small enough to fit in a small backpack.

Got it today and will be using it to move aquarium water from my tanks, into the bladder in my truck, down to my garden. It always seemed a waste to dump all the good nitrates down the drain to me. So I'm using it to grow my food. Free fertilizer. This bladder allows me to move the water since the garden is really far from my house. Irrigation would be nice, but this is a quick alternative for my solution. I can also use it for emergency drinking water or general cleaning water in a pinch. But being on a well, a generator is a better option. You could definitely use this if you were camping as a big family or group. Just know it will use up an entire truck bed, or you risk puncturing it. Also you'll never be able to move it once filled. It'll weigh 700lbs. Seems well constructed and you should be able to use general patch kits on it as well. It does hold a lot of water, if you know you're limited. And the connection options make it easy to use.

Excellent for an emergency

I ordered this water storage bladder because I live in SW Florida and we have natural disasters ~ hurricanes, tornadoes and flooding etc. I lived through Hurricane Ian and after the destruction I did not have water, electricity, or internet for approximately 4 weeks. I filled my bathtub the night before Ian made landfall to make sure I would have water to flush the toilet with. I woke up the next morning and the tub was drained! My house was only 2 1/2 years old! The tub could not hold water past a couple hours, so do not count on it during an emergency. I ordered this bladder to have on hand during the next emergency. I had plenty of bottled water for my family and pets (neighbors if they needed it). but you need extra water to flush the toilet with. The plastic is strong and durable. I feel confident this will holdup during the next emergency. I recommend this product.

A must have item for any Prepper

After the last hard freeze we had here in Texas, we were frozen out and had no running water for more than a week. We were lucky we had bottle water to drink and cook with. But we had to go and search for water to flush the toilets. My goal is to use this bladder tank to when in times of need to fill for toilet and maybe shower with. I like that it has a valve that can be connected to a hose or pipe. I also like that it is made of thick PVC that can resist wear and tear. Overall, this is a high quality product. Highly recommended.

Great large capacity water storage option

This is a large and heavy duty water storage bladder. The material that this is made out of feels thick and very sturdy. It definitely feels like it will hold up when the time comes. The kit contains everything you need to get the bladder all set up. It includes a fill port, a drain adapter, patches, and plenty of teflon tape to seal threads. Keep in mind that you need to fill this where it will be used and it needs to be on a very sturdy surface. Water is around 8 pounds a gallon, so this will get heavy very quickly and you will not be able to move the bladder once it is full.

Durable product

I was actually looking for drinking water storage this is for rain water, with that being said you can hang this bladder or lay it flat. It is very thick material I am happy to have a little extra water on hand just in case.
