Meant for solid cabinets
I bought this because the hinges for the trash cabinets broke and the door would not stay on anymore. I wanted to attached the door to the item so that it was all one piece. Well, my cabinets have a thick frame but an extremely thin face. So I had to improvise. I had to take scrap wood that I had and attach it on the inside of the door to the solid frame. Then I was able to attach the frame of the trash can holder to the scrap wood in order for it to work. It works very very well, I was irritated that I couldn’t just put it directly on my cabinet and caused me extra work. Now that it is done, I’m not mad about it.

Mr
Excellent product, but has literally the WORSE installation instructions I have ever had the displeasure of reading. Be prepared to figure it all out on your own. The quality and value for the money is excellent though so still happy.

Easy to follow directions and works well
Took about 30 minutes to install. Directions were pretty clear, but it’s always nice if there is a short video showing installation.I think having a template that could be taped down to show where all screw holes are supposed to go would have been a little more helpful. But we attached the baseboard piece before we screwed in the back screws on the slide rails. This ensures everything was straight and didn’t close wonky.

Works great
This is a really good pull out can. The glide rails move smoothly. The can is well sized, and install is simple with clear instructions.

Super easy to install
I live in a single wide mobile home and this fit perfectly under my cabinets. I do consider myself pretty handy but this was easy to install and easy to follow instructions. I love that if you try to slam the drawer back in it catches and slows back down.

Excellent Under-mount Pull-out Trash Can
My trash draw has an opening of 12x21. This trash can fits in with no issue. The installation itself was not bad. Most of my time was on alignment. The instruction is OK but lack of details, especially for someone who never did this, like me. Eventually, I figured it out. The end result is pretty good. I provided some detailed pictures to give you some ideas on how to install it. Hope they help.

not the best instructions, but everything works and is made fine
We had been needing a hideaway garbage can for the kitchen, and ordered this one. It fits perfectly in our cabinet, and was fairly easy to install, but the directions were more of a simple diagram than up close details. The one item I wasn't sure about at first from the tiny pictures is shown correctly installed in my photo. The angled bracket attaches to the front of the drawer slides and is what the long side brackets attach to, that hold the cabinet door to the slides.I think the hardest part of installation is where to drill the holes. A paper template would be nice, but the way I did it was to assemble the cage and slides and then position it inside the cabinet and mark it. Then I had to measure distances and mark the back side of the cabinet door and attach and adjust that. Since the old handle of the cabinet door is not centered (will do later), the drawer will tend to pull to the side unless you counter the pressure. But once assembled, everything works together and operates smoothly. It's a nice way to clean up your kitchen by not having a standalone trash can on the floor or near the cabinets.
