This magnetic lifter works very well! I used it in my shop the other day to lift a 4'x10'plate of 1/2" steel onto my CNC plasma table and could not ask for it to work any better. With that being said it did arrive missing the handle to turn it on and off. Not to worry I just used a bolt to do so but you must be careful because if you do not get if pushed onto the stops it will fly out at a high rate of speed. I had contacted Vevor before using it to see about getting a handle but they where no help. They did make mention of returning it (on my dime) but I thought that was wasteful as it still worked fine. Vevor ended up telling me they would give me a 10 dollar credit but I've never seen it. Great product but not good enough to pick up Vevor's customer service and their short comings.

Great magnet for metal with a flat surface. Need to be somewhat carful with anything that doesn't have good surface contact. Also very handy for picking up screw, nails etc with the excavator. Just add a flat plate to extend the magnet surface & it works great :)

I love this thing. Been wanting one for years but the price for the American made brands were very high. Saw this for $160 and immediately purchased it for a job that I had to lift many 300 lb. angles. Worked like a charm, almost too good. Was picking 2 up at a time when they were stacked.

We have two , they work great . Make sure to clean the surface of rust , mill scale and oils

Works great on 1/4 or thicker 4x8 sheets. Any thinner the sheet well flex and fall. It must be placed dead center. If it's on an angle it will drop it.

Overall, a great value. One concern is that we had two magnets purchased pull tested by third party. Magnets advertise a 2.5 safety factor, which would have a breakaway point of 2200lbs. One of the units tested achieved 1900lbs, the other was 1700lbs. Not a huge concern, as they both tested well above pulling capacity, but we will monitor as they are re-tested every year. Only other concern is lack of spare parts availability. We use magnets on daily basis, so components need to be replaced periodically.

This is the best thing I have got last year I need to move a few things that where heavy and need a magnet to move them. Thank you

Bought 2 of these to load steel on to plasma table, works great on thicker metal such as 1/4" to 3/4". Anything thinner in a 4x8 sheet flies too much

I needed this magnet for something it's not normally used for and it worked out perfectly. I'll use it for many years now

A little smaller than I expected. But it worked perfectly and I am extremely satisfied . The thicker the steel the better it clamps
