Bought it to use in the new house we are building due to water in the crawlspace since gutters and sump pump hasn’t been installed yet. Works great very heavy duty. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a dehumidifier

Works better than I thought it would!

I like that the control is removable and can be mounted separately via the included 20ft wire. This unit operates very efficiently and does the job to keep my 2 bay garage super dry. Before that placement, I used it to dry out the basement at my brother's house with had a backed-up drain off of the sump pump. Whew... what a mess. However, this unit did the trick and I couldn't be happier. It's BIG and built like a tank. So, get a friend to help you move it!

Works great

This dehumidifier works great. It starts working right away, but takes a little bit before you see water coming out of the tube. It's powerful, though. It's much quieter than expected, too, which is great. It's heavy, with no wheels. It's not as hard to move around as one would think, though. It's easy to use and we're pleased with it.

Heavy Duty!

After having bad luck with box store units only lasting 1-2 years I decided to give this beast a try. It was a little more money but I'm hoping it lasts, it seems very heavy duty and so far is working flawlessly! Unit is very easy to set up and operate and makes no more noise than the others we have had, just a fan noise while moving tons of air. So far it seems to be a superior product and it arrived quickly with free shipping!

Great Quality and Good Price

I recently had the opportunity to use this dehumidifier at a friends house when his 5 year old son decided to fill the bathtub to float a boat. Well he turned on the water and walked away. The overflow helped but there was water everywhere. This was probably over kill for our situation but it worked like a charm dehumidifying the air while fans blasted in different rooms. This was a real blessing to have available.

Heavy duty works in warmer temps

I use this in my tack room during humid months, it’s heavy duty and works well during 3 seasons, My tack room is heated in the winter but orly to about 40 degrees and I didn’t want to risk it freezing and doing damage to the unit so I didn’t use it during the really cold months. I like the fact it’s ceiling mounted so it’s not taking up floor space. We have it hooked to a hose to drain so it’s really effective and effortless. Keeps all my leather gear mold free!

Very powerful but needs better info

I never could find out how the provided water full cord is suppose to be used and nothing in the instructions. Also, beware there are parts and packaging inside the unit and its not easy to remove.

Crawl Space is at proper humidty level now!

I have an encapsulated crawl space (this is the modern way that has scientific tests to validate it). The old way was to vent and I enclosed mine some years ago. I used two household dehumidifiers and they worked to a degree but were problamatic. I order this unit (big one) for over 2000 sq ft of crawl space. My house has three main sections that are under one crawl space. The before photo in an area covered with duct work (so the air flow is not as good as other spots) was high. After 24 hours in was down to 58% and probably will drop over the next day or two. The outside temp and humidty photos are with the sensor in the crawl space near a hard to reach area with restricted air flow due to HVAC ducts. The unit is well built and the only problem is the air filter did not cover all the holes so I added some double stick tape to cover a row of holes and also hold the filter in place. A positive is the mount legs have a round part so the leg can be slanted if needed. I will update this review once I have had this running for at least three months.
