We used this for the first time with some of our 55lb broadbreasted turkeys but DID NOT DROP THEM IN. We held them up and let the plucker pluck what it could (60%-75%of the feathers came off), when we dropped in a 3lb rooster it was plucked clean in less than 15 seconds. For as large as the feathers were with the turkeys, it did an unbelievable job at pushing them through. Easy to clean and worked really, really well and we're looking forward to usng it for our meat chickens in the summer.

I had 50 meat chickens to process. The Vevor 20" machine worked great. I was working alone, so I would place 1 bird at a time in the machine. 10 - 15 seconds is all it took to plucke them clean. Great investment. It made the chore of processing chickens seem easy. Easy clean up. I placed a strainer pan under the feather chute. A quick dump of the strainer after about 10 chickens and I was back to work.

Easy to use. Just a few seconds and bird was clean. Easy to clean up. I would recommend to any body that wants to process your their own poultry.

Have not used plucker yet as the chickens are still being prepped. Purchase and delivery were very smooth and am looking forward to saving time with the plucker. Gave 4 stars for features and easy of use since I haven't used the plucker yet. Once used I will update the review.

Absolutely fantastic!! We were able to put 3 Cornish cross in at a time. It saved so much time. An amazing investment!

Would recommend but if you can afford get the one you can attach a hose too makes things a lot easier

Made quick work of 40 meat birds! I’ll never hand pluck again! It’s was simple to clean and set up was easy. The size was perfect for our needs as a smaller homestead.

This was our first time processing our own chickens and honestly we would not have been able to do it without this plucker. The only down side is that it came dented but I’m sure that happened in transit. The plucker was easy to use and super helpful in the process. One thing I’d recommend if this product ever gets upgraded is adding a hose/sprinkler around the rim. Regardless of that I absolutely loved this product and anyone thinking about processing their own birds should get this. It is worth every penny and the quality of the machine shows it will pay for itself for years to come.

Machine works fine when it works. I replaced the electrical cord after 2 uses (50 birds). The very next time I used it i only got halfway through the batch before it wouldn't turn on again. I thought maybe it had gotten wet. Nope. The breaker just wouldn't reset. I had enough and hardwired it and now it's fine. It does it's job. I just thought for 400 plus dollars I'd have it for a while. We will see if it makes it another season. I have around 150 processed. That's roughly 3$ per bird so far.

Works... I processed 30 chickens and it works as described. Gotta clean it out pretty often, otherwise it will jamb up with feathers.
