Good strong motor replacement for my 0ld craftsman table saw.

Replaced the motor on my sears table saw. It had a 1 hp motor on it. I replaced it with this 1.5 hp motor. More power and easy to put on and set up. NOTE: the shaft has a protective cap on it that is black and looked like a hardened steel shaft to my old eyes. I thought they sent me the wrong motor. I contacted customer service and was informed it was a protective cap. We'll maybe black is not the best color. Maybe red or yellow would be a better choice. The larger motor has more power and I'm happy with it.

when I ordered this motor, I was told I would not receive it until Dec. 7-10. but it only took three days. which is great because I am working on a project that I need to finish soon. wiring was easy instructions were very clear. hooked up to my craftsman contractor table saw model # 315-228-390 perfectly. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't used it yet. I will update this review after using it for awhile hoping there will be no problems. After hooking it all up, I ran it and it was very smooth and has much more power than the old one.

The 1 HP motor on my Craftsman Table Saw failed. This is an excellent replacement. It's even an upgrade at a good price.

Put it on my 40 year old craftsman 10inch table saw. Saw runs smooth and more power .

Great motor. I bought a matching pump from greenpump to make a DIY pressure washer. If I were to do this again I would by 2 hp half speed motor (~1,725rpm) to greatly reduce pressure washer pump noise and maybe even increase pump life.

Arrived a week earlier than stated. Wiring diagram was very clear, as well the wires were clearly marked. That made wiring straight forward. Using this on a contractor saw. Works as expected.

The motor is a perfect to replace the original motor on my table saw. Easy to mount, and wire. Reversing the rotation was snap.

i had an issue, my motor was damaged during shipping, and they replaced the motor quickly and communicated very well. The new motor worked perfectly. I plan to buy more motors soon.
