Perfect Pitch. It’s a beauty.

I’ve tried several tongue drums and this is by far the best. I am pleased with its quality and aesthetics. First, all 14 notes are in perfect tune and playable in all octaves. Second, the tone is more “wooden” than metallic, so the vibrations from discordant notes don’t compete with each other. Third, the drum is tuned to C major, which is a convenient key for a variety of music styles. Fourth, the decorative rope weaving around the drum is tightly woven and secure, so it won’t fall off as it has on other drums I’ve tried. Finally, the drum is beautifully designed. All in all, I highly recommend this drum; it will reward you with hours of pleasure each time you play it.

Sounds wonderful, easy to learn, good quality, and worth the investment.

There is a little book of several songs that can be played on this tongue drum. I learned to play Twinkle Twinkle little star very easily. I do have some music experience. I grew up playing the violin. The book helps to make it easy by using a number code on the key to be played. Once you know where the keys are, you can then easily play the songs directly from the book. If you spend just a little time thinking through the scale of this instrument, you should be able to play songs from other books. When I bought my tongue drum there weren't any books out there for songs that I recognized and few books at all. There are a couple out there now. I love the sound of this meditation drum. You can play this with your bare hands, with rubber finger mallets, or regular rubber mallets on sticks. The color of the drum that I purchased is turquoise and I find it to be a pleasant color while playing and I like leaving it out when I'm not playing it.

Great hand-pan. Can be played with fingers.

Really happy with it. Just wanted to let people know that you can indeed play it with your fingers. I was able to hit the sweet spot having no prior experience and just watching one youtube vid about hand-pan fingerplay. I’m sure it will sound even better when I get the knack.

Reliable product. Met my needs very well.

I wanted a sturdy, portable tongue drum with good tone in a C major scale, and that is exactly what I got. Note: product description is somewhat confusing. The drum is not, of course, pure copper.

Great sound, and color! Thumbs up!

Beautiful meditative sound. There are certain sweet spots on each tongue. I haven’t even attempted to play a real song, it’s very easy to just get carried away improvising with it.

really just a fun instrument for anyone

My wife can not even read sheet music or play anything, except this. With two 7-note octaves, where the range falls short the tone alone carries it. Play this for 15 minutes and you will feel spa-level relaxation. Really fun, and not a bad instrument for kids as it is very hard to break/play way too loudly/hit grating notes to intentionally cause dissonance!
