Works as advertised. Basic Variac, no problems. I don't want to type 100 more characters, but there you have it.

This Variac was a great value for the money! I love the fact that it has an accurate voltmeter to aid in slowly bringing the voltage up and a fuse on it for ultimate safety.

this item is great. works exactly as expected, no issues. shopping process was quick and easy. have been using regularly for over 3 years now and no issues. i did add some accent marks to highlight the settings. makes it easier to see the settings. no issues with performance of unit.

I like how solid and easy it is to use, just wish it had a digital voltage display, great nonetheless.

it is heavy, like it should be. Very well packed with dense foam. works. The instruction book is not good enough; if you are not comfortable how these work (carbon brush, etc) do some research.
