This is my second Chinese diesel heater and these things simply work. I don’t see a particular difference in between two that I own… I will post an update later about longevity until then only thing I can say is, it works.

I use it to heat my workshop. I can't tell you how many hours I have on it. Make sure the diesel is clean and it should run with no issues. I'm about to purchase another one...

Works great once we figured it out. Directions are a bit hard to figure out, as they are translated from a different language. But once we got it going worked great and kept the trailer warm all night. Easy to install. Had to make a few adjustments with the exhaust line. Great buy for the price.

Oh I love my diesel heater it kept me warm is past winter would have never thought how good this Vevor heater is. My only compliant is the diesel pump as it does make a ticking sound that after a while you get used to it ,but you never forget.

Smaller version of the 5kw for smaller places (think half-ton conversion van where space is at a premium) but works just like the bigger one. As with the larger ones I'm not a fan of the fuel tank included (I want a vertical standpipe and top exit so there is no risk of leaks over time) and its larger than it needs to be, especially for the smaller output and thus less fuel use. And I'd like Fahrenheit selectable but I get it -- its EU and Chinese made, so.... yeah, its Celsius. All my other comments on the larger unit apply as well; a menu-selectable deadband and on/off capability for when you're on shore power and don't care about the cycle up/down power drain would be nice. There are aftermarket answers to this problem if you really need it. These newer models with the built-in altitude compensation are IMHO worth it simply for that reason alone; otherwise you have to go into the service menus on the older controllers and derate manually or you'll soot it up if you're at higher altitude. I appreciate not having to do that.

I have set up in garage on cold days with mini splits helps a lot. I setup with an inverter just plug in fill up and turn on.

These are generally very good units: I’m surprised at how much heat this 5k u it pumps out. It keeps the cabin of my boat toasty here in Alaska. Some notes on weak points of these Chinese units: The fuel line is junk and should be upgraded for safer immediately. The priming method in the instructions doesn’t work, so turn it on with the fuel line unplugged, and let the air work out of the fuel line, then quickly connect the line to the unit. An in-line bleeder valve would be very convenient to assist in bleeding/priming the line because it will need to be done every time you run the tank out of fuel. To insulate the exhaust, parts store “header wrap” works like a champ. These heaters have a few mechanical weakpoints that fail in time, but the components are readily available and easy to work on. The fuel tanks are bulky and in my application I found a different one that took up less real estate and worked better, here on Amazon. Shockingly good heaters for $125!

works very well for my garage lot better than kerosene heater or blower and a lot quieter wish i would have purchased one years ago building is a 12x16 stays very comfortable at low to medium depending temp outside
