We used this for the first time with some of our 55lb broadbreasted turkeys but DID NOT DROP THEM IN. We held them up and let the plucker pluck what it could (60%-75%of the feathers came off), when we dropped in a 3lb rooster it was plucked clean in less than 15 seconds. For as large as the feathers were with the turkeys, it did an unbelievable job at pushing them through. Easy to clean and worked really, really well and we're looking forward to usng it for our meat chickens in the summer.

I had 50 meat chickens to process. The Vevor 20" machine worked great. I was working alone, so I would place 1 bird at a time in the machine. 10 - 15 seconds is all it took to plucke them clean. Great investment. It made the chore of processing chickens seem easy. Easy clean up. I placed a strainer pan under the feather chute. A quick dump of the strainer after about 10 chickens and I was back to work.

Easy to use. Just a few seconds and bird was clean. Easy to clean up. I would recommend to any body that wants to process your their own poultry.

Have not used plucker yet as the chickens are still being prepped. Purchase and delivery were very smooth and am looking forward to saving time with the plucker. Gave 4 stars for features and easy of use since I haven't used the plucker yet. Once used I will update the review.

Absolutely fantastic!! We were able to put 3 Cornish cross in at a time. It saved so much time. An amazing investment!

I read the reviews and I saw how most people would have trouble with the feathers clogging up the process. I did it as well and though there is a better way. The solution!! After you scald the chicken, by hand grab and pull out the largest feathers, Tail and wing. A quick pull on just those few bunches before you toss the whole bird in is the game changer. The plucker has no issues with the smaller feathers. The little fingers under the spinner do a good job pushing those in. Its the large feathers that always get stuck. After 4 birds I said there has to be a better way. By removing the large feathers quickly by hand it solved the problem. The smaller feathers are the ones that give me the most time anyways and this plucker does a great job. We toss in one bird at a time and within 20 seconds or less its clean. Saves a whole lot of time. My friend and I processed 20 birds in 3 hours.. From culling to cutting and putting them in the chiller. You can pay a little more for other brands that look exactly the same but trust me they are all the same machine. Unless you go larger. Overall Im super happy. Again remove the large feathers quick and then toss in the bird with a lot of water pushing it all down the drain tube. We also put a bucket on the bottom with draining holes and it was perfect.

This plucker works excellent! I ran 50 birds through it so far. Will pluck 2 large broilers at the same time. Feather discharge hose is handy and keeps the feathers from going everywhere. Quality is good. You won’t be disappointed.

It was well packaged, easy to assemble, and well worth the money for the price. I highly recommend buying this to anyone that is looking for a chicken plucker. I love that even came with extra parts.

with just a small dent upon arrival, easy to just push back out did a terrific job. You need to find the sweet spot for how hot your water is and how long to keep the bird in the water or this thing will not only pull feathers but de skin too.

it came in damaged, it was usable. I loved it, called customer service and they’re mailing me the part that was damaged. I’m very pleased.
