This really is a great griddle for the money. I would not want to go any smaller than the 18-inch. Seasoning was simple, albeit a lot of smoke so do that outside. We have made Pancakes, omelets, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, fried ham, bacon, toast, toasted buns, hashbrowns, and chicken strips. Really good non stick after seasoning. There is a 'hot zone' with the electric that reduces the surface area of effective cooking, or the surface temp can be about 20 to 30 degrees lower than center. It can also take 10 to 20 minutes to get up to temp, it's a thick steel flat top. That said, the ability to use this on our countertop in the kitchen makes it much more usable than a gas model. We like it a lot and are happy with the purchase. If making big breakfasts, or fried rice it would be nice to have a bigger version than 18 inch, or have two that you could set to different temps. Also note this is a big griddle you will need space to store it if not left out on the countertop. We have room to put it on top of our oven under the microhood, so that is nice when cooking smokey foods. There has been no smoke from the griddle with the temp set at 400 F or less.

I have owned several restaurants with many flat top griddles, all price ranges. This one performs very well, as well as much more expensive griddles. Very pleased with this purchase.

Griddle has good looks and the quality is good. Nevertheless it needs to have sharp edges smooth it. If not carful when cleaning you can have serious cuts in your fingers. Griddle takes an hour to get ready for cooking. Griddle NEVER reach temperature indicated it short about 100 degrees. It doesn't maintain temperature it needs serious improvements..

I gave as Christmas Gift. I did open parcel to verify no damaged during shipping. I have several Vevor purchases and have been happy with all so far. I hope my son enjoys his present!

Works well so far. Haven't used it much. but the temperature was controlled perfectly for the cook I look forward to more use soon.

I am very happy that I purchased this product. However, it does take up a lot of space.

The griddle is amazing, IMHO. It's seasoning up nicely and this thing gets HOT. I gradually got it up to temp a little at the time and didn't trip any breakers so thank you guy who did that and posted about it, great advice. Had it sitting on my flat top stove and amazingly the surface of the stove stayed cool even when my infrared temp gun registered the plate over 600° and yes it got that hot. That took a while to cool back down I'll tell ya. But cast iron y'all, so no surprise there.Anyway, I have zero regrets about this purchase (also it shipped *fast*). All I can say is the Chinese are serious about their food prep lol and I'm very much looking forward to learning how to really cook on this.
