Great vacuum chamber setup
Been using it since the day it showed up, not a single issue with it. I did have to change the oil after the first use because what I vacuumed was hot and created steam which is not good for the pump, it turned the oil brown. Changed it and haven't made the same mistake since and everything is working perfectly.

Silicon gasket on tank rim seems flimsy and displaces easily.
Using for degassing epoxy. Works great after it seals. Gasket takes attention and often needs extra pressure on the lid to begin working.

Good unit for the money. Will pull the rated value and the pot is thick. I like the clear top which is more than strong enough. The only problem I have had is that it would not pull and vacuum and the oil would froth up badly. The fix was simple, replace the cheap oil with good stuff.

Nice Vacuum
Use this all the time, and pump removes air in seconds

Not bad, not amazing.
It does what it says it is supposed to do. Takes a while to hit that last little bit to reach full vacuum but all in all it’s pretty good. You will need to order a vapor filter as some oil vapor does get inside the chamber.

Worked great
I have only used it once and everything worked great. The vacuum pump is a little loud but not really a problem for us.

Like my vacuum pump and container for vacuuming on epoxy's and also doing a meat marinate in a brine

Bought this to vacuum dry wood bowls. Had to use a heat pad underneath the container at 160 degrees Fahrenheit and vacuum at 28.5 inches. Easily dried them but couldn't keep the moisture out of the pump after using 2 different filters. Most of the time, the oil and water easily separate when drained at the end of the cycle

Works well enough
Reading some of the other reviews I am pleased with my purchase. It came with two bottles of oil for the pump which made me figure it shipped with the bare min oil in the pump. Which is good to prevent it possibly leaking everywhere. I have noticed when using the pump a lite fog mist comes out; its oil so I rapped the exhaust port with a rag just to be safe. The one thing i am concerned about is the pressure gage as it doesn’t read 0 when not being used. I know my city is 4K ft above sea level, but I think the gage just needs to be replaced. The fluid inside is only 3/4 full so that might be related. Couldn’t find how to contact the seller so here’s hope they read this.I also didn’t know that using this process to remove bubbles, which worked amazingly, cut the play time of the epoxy in half. So be aware of that.

DOES NOT COME WITH OIL!
You will need to add 250ml of HFV 32 vacuum pump oil. Do not run the pump without it, or it won't last very long.Vacuum pump oil isn't exactly a common thing that you would already have just laying around. I think it's annoying that it doesn't come with everything you need, my project got delayed by a day since I didn't realize i needed to buy additional material to use the product.
