The white reflective is simply slide over the cone and slide off when separating the cones. I will be using them with horse training and riding exercises, so I suppose I will not need the reflective portion.
The cones are extremely sturdy.Only thing is, if you stack them the tape begins to peel away. Simple to replace the tape though. I would recommend and purchase again if needed.
