We bought three of them and put them on rollers. They are nice and stable. The bottom cushions could be a little thicker, but they will work for us.

This truck windshield mount has 6 masts per side and can hold up to 5 windshields at a time.

It is very reliable and stable
The windshield can be locked in place thanks to a specially designed locking system to prevent the windshield from sliding out. The mast is covered with foam padding and the underlayment is made of PVC padding to minimize damage to the windshield.
