The best
I have used this for almost 1 year I like it so much I wanted to buy anothet and could not find this same one so I bought another brand. The new one is not at all user friendly and I wish I could find this one again!

I’d buy it again even if it’s not perfect
I have a back yard coop and this is a must have for piece of mind for your girls safety. Mine opens about 15 minutes before sunrise and closes couple of hours after sunset. The only complaints is that I wish it had a battery backup since if the power goes out the clock resets to 8am. I got around this by adding a couple of solar panels. Not ideal, but I had other uses for an off grid system. I did have the actuator fail and replaced it out of pocket for about $50 because the is so convenient. The actuator also tends to stick in freezing weather, but knowing those issues I’d still buy it again. 98% of the time it’s flawless and I’ll take that versus having to get up every morning to let em out or go out at night to put them up! Remotes are handy. I have one hanging up in the coop if I’m out there and need to shut them out if I’m working on something.

Remotes do not come with batteries so order them along with the door.
I had to build a frame for my door location but it was pretty easy. Works well and has been problem free so far. I put a wifi camera pointed at the door to keep an eye on its operation and so far it has operated flawlessly.

Works great
Easy to install works great.I used my existing door instead of the metal one that comes with the unit. The only problem I had is we had a lightning storm and the DC plug stopped working this is no fault of the unit what I did to correct this I ran from car battery with a solar power battery maintainer instead of running AC power cord, this way it is isolated and lightning strikes will not zap anything. Also I recommend putting any electronics under some kind of roof to protect it from the elements my box is inside my coop.

No timer to set
Easy set up and don’t have a timer like my last one is strictly light sensitive the door starts to open with the first sight of day light and closes at dusk

Manufacturer support
After having this door opener for about 7 months, it stopped working. I contacted Amazon who got me in contact with the manufacturer.Because the manufacturer stood behind there product, they sent the parts needed to to fix the problem and the Automatic Door Opener is again working.I was impressed with the manufacturer of this product.
