Regarding your 400 lb hitch mounted deer hoist. I see that the max didtance from the ground to the top of the lifting arm is 102 inch. What is the max vertical distance from the trailer hitch to the bottom of the lifting hook? Thanks, Stan

Good quality skinning rack, had 1 issue while field dressing 2 whitetails this season.. Once the cranking handle is free without a load it will spin making the cable loose.I finally used a bungee cord to keep the handle from spinning.One suggestion that I could make would be to replace some of the bolts with safety pins with the spring wire lock. Easy on easy off, no nuts to lose in the grass.

Deer processing
This product is much sturdier than what I expected it would be. I had no problem using the winch to hoist up a 4 yro doe. The only problem was that the unit is too short to get the deer all the way off the ground. I’m having to build an extension to add to it to get enough height. Otherwise it worked great.
