A: It cannot be adjusted downward. It can be adjusted up by placing a spacer.

Q: I want to use a 4 jaw chuck with this lathe, I bought a k72-125 doesn’t fit. What chuck would fit this lather or is there a back plate adaptor that works?
A: It comes with 100mm. You can replace it with a 125 flange.
