No, 25V is too low, the input voltage is recommended to be 36-52V.

I have 3 130 watts solar panels i would like to interface with my house wiring. I already have a 6.4 kw system installed with its own controller and inverter grid tied and net metering. I don't intend to connect these panels to the existing system but in addition to it. Can I do this and do I need a charge controller in circuit between the three panels and this grid tie inverter? Thanks.

I like this product but I wish it lasted longer!
this inverter is very good, and I believe when I get all of my inverters into a air conditioned area I will be able to double their capacity! these are well built ,However due to the salt air and the high humidity even with all the windows and doors air tight living next to the ocean has its draw backs we have to replace all the sockets and light switchs on the ground floor of the house every other year it is just the way things are and our Windshield wipers rust all the way through in about three years and any part of the car or truck that is not covered by rustoeium will rust quickly so these inverters are good like, Timex they take a licking and keep on ticking!

Bought this to use with 1200 watts of old panels ( 7bof them in p ) about 45 degree north of the equator. Currently it's the middle of winter and I get over 1 kw on a sunny day. Which is not much at all. That said, as the days get longer that will improve. I expect this purchase to have paid for itself before June. So a 6 month break even point. So, worth it but don't expect the moon. Do expect simplicity and consistency. Great use for old panels.

Pretty good for what it is
Mounted mine vertically - battery terminals up so air flows up and out. Lots of air around it. Doesn't get very hot as others have noted. Fans come on maybe a few times an hour for maybe a minute (Florida sun). Not very efficient, I am getting maybe half the panel output (where same bank gave me almost panel ratings with Victron MPPT). Still, I have averaged about $4.00 a week at $.20 a KWH so far at 1000 watts of solar (in central Florida). Since I have way more panels than I need for my battery bank and inverters I think another one of these is in my future. Nice when hooked to metered shore power. Oh - I tried it with the generator and it did actually work and lightened the load during the day. Still, it is only half as efficient as a good MPPT controller so keep that in mind.

Excellent products for entry level enthusiastics on to the solar panel experience. Be careful not to generate more power than need it. Because the power company will charge you for the power that you generate. They don't kill if they meet a spin backwards or forward. They charge you base on power going through the meter, not direction. This is only if you have an analog meter

Cooling fans need to come on much sooner
The inverters work as they should but the one major flaw at least with these 1000 watt ones are the cooling fans don't come on till very hot or damage to the inverter happens . I got 4 inverters on 21 San tan solar panels and each inverter uses 5 panels and one uses 6 where the panels are flat on the roof. I had to wire up the fans on one side of the inverters and wire the fans to a power supply and timer so the fans run when the inverters are producing from mid morning to late afternoon. So the fans in my part should come on as soon as there is power available from a source like a solar panels. For more expensive grid tie systems i see that need 240 volt service to feed have there fans run when any power is being fed. This would allow these inverters to one run much cooler and allow to reach the stated rated output without burning up inside the inverter from over heating.

I can only tell good about the seller Boboran and this inverter. Runs like a champ, does what it is supposed to do and does it reliable.Running it at constant 850 watts to make sure not to overheat, but thats just me and being precautios
