A: Full suction stop type: It will only stop after the water is fully sucked, and it will continue to suck if not manually pressed.<br/>Intermittent type: The first gear will continuously suck. In second gear, suck for 30 seconds and stop for 25 seconds. Suck for another 30 seconds and it will stop for another 25 seconds. It is a cyclical process.

Q: In the manual, it looks like the drain hose should screw onto the hole. Or am I supposed to just push it into the hole, and the threads are for the plug only?
