My garage ceiling is 11.2 ft high. Is this pull down ladder able to reach? I reviewed description said the ladder is 12 steps for 11.2 ft. But the specification said max reach is 9.8 ft. Item length is 11.2 ft. Please clarify. Thanks

What is the overall width of a step? I have a limited opening size down through a scuttle and would like to bolt this to the wall above the scuttle and then bring the steps down through this scuttle opening... so I understand your frame width is 27.6" but where you show the "Step Size" of 19.7" I don't know if that is the inside width or the outside width.

Can you remove any of the steps/links? From floor to floor, I have just under 6 1/2 feet. (~76 inches) that I need to climb.  Would it be possible to remove 1-2 steps, and re-attach the landing feet to a higher rung?

Attic ladder review
The Vevor extendable wall mount ladder was an ideal solution to reach the mezzanine storage in my shop without taking up floor space. Installation instructions are pretty sparse but adequate and I had no issues mounting the base. Bolting the ladder on the base is a two person job but only took a couple of minutes to accomplish The steps feel sturdy and secure.

Great for small spaces
We got these for our cabin loft to replace a ladder that was cumbersome and took up space. The steps pull-down is a FANTASTIC solution. My husband mounted them, and he said it was easier than he thought it was going to be. They are sturdy, easy to use, and easy to put away. When put away, they take up no floor space.

"Stairway to Heaven"
I am well into my 70's and the grandsons, that have done this task for me, have all gone off to college. I have been unable to get into the attic to change my furnace filter without great difficulty and potential injury. Access through a ceiling in a small closet with a step ladder. Fantastic product, compact, well built, very sturdy and easy to operate. I did all of the installation and adjustments. It is almost a joy to go up in the attic. We are considering building some storage in the attic space now that we have such easy access.
