This drill is at a price that seems too good to be true. The company I work for bought this drill and it’s used primarily for drilling 1 1/2 to 4” holes through concrete floors. It wouldn’t be recommended to use this drill without the stand bolted firmly in place as it’ll cause serious injury if it binds up. The drill has served us well for around 9 months being used maybe once a week but last week whilst drilling a 2” hole the gearbox just disengaged whilst the motor runs the bit does not. This is not a tool for heavy consistent use. It’ll serve its purpose for the home contractor who only needs it once in a while. It’s what can be described as harbor freight quality….
