Drilled 10 4.25" diameter holes in my retaining wall at depth of 9" each. There were not many instructions to put it together, fortunately, it didn't really need it. They ship it a certain way, you have to take it slightly apart and put it back together the right way. The feet go on the "front" of the pedestal. The feet were essentially useless for me (though they would be great in most other scenarios). It would have been a great little addition if they had included the $4.00 garden hose adapter you need for the water. Additionally, a 1 1/4 to 5/8 attachment would have been great. I also wasn't sure what two of the pieces were for (they looked sort of like fuses, but I have no idea what they are). Aside from all of that, it was GREAT! I have NEVER drilled a core out in my life and I got 10 with this one core bit and core drill and they were exceptional. I DID predrill, though. I used a concrete bit in my hammer drill where I wanted the hole and a "throw away" 4.25" hole saw to score the blocks where I wanted the holes. It helped me line things up perfectly. Go SLOW at first. The big will catch on the ground if you go too quickly. So just take your time. Once you get a bit deeper into the core, you can push it a bit faster because the bit has the support from the walls. But until you get down a bit, it'll catch and (if you're not standing on the drill plate on the back) throw you around. Make sure to TURN OFF the machine before pushing the reset button. Always restart from scratch. Turn everything off, reset position, buttons, etc. Then start. 5 Stars because it did exactly what I needed it to do without any additional needs, saved thousands of dollars, and looks like it'd be able to do it for a lot longer.

Great core drilling machine, I used it on concrete wall (7.5" thick), with 4 inch bit, easy to use and setup. No issues yet, highly recommend.

Good product for the price. The base could be redesigned to be more stable when drilling at the far end of the range as the stand flexes too much when starting a large hole over 3” and an extra brace is needed to prevent wobble. The one piece that wasn’t available is a good interfacing of the bits to the tool, a different adapter should be provided as a 5/8” piece of all thread with a hole drilled in it to achieve the wet drilling abilities advertised is a weak fix to a coupling that could be sold along with the bits to fit the drill more appropriately.

Very good tool and the best price ever need to do very good support and work perfectly and need to change the hose with another one better.

I bought this core drill to core ten 8" holes through my 4" thick concrete patio for shade structure footings. Let me just say that I have used top name brands like Hilti before and was pretty surprised by the good quality this Vevor core drill is. I have affectionately named her "CHilti". The drill came with a 4.5" core that I did not use but looked high quality. I used a name brand 8" core bit and the machine handled it with zero problems. Chewed right through the rebar and never bound up. The included water hose adapter will work but I recommend buying a threaded garden hose adapter and appropriate fittings to ensure proper water flow during operation. Buying this was cheaper than renting and I would not hesitate to buy another Vevor branded tool for a specialty job due to quality and value they have provided me.

used it it drill 2 8\" holes through 7\" re-enforced concrete walls. Heavy to place but powered right through. Can't tell you about longevity as I only have 2 holes right now - but this with an 8\" bit was far cheaper then pro-drillers and the result is perfect - took about 30 minutes per hole - going slowly. You have to monkey around with the water feed though - not difficult and not that messy if you are careful

Seems very well built compared with other brand names and works fine for our application accessing through concrete driveways.
